Preparing and packing a pottery order for shipment

Due to the fragile nature of the pottery we take upmost care when packing your order for shipment.

Packing of all our goods takes place within our warehouse. Every piece is individually wrapped in bubble wrap before it is stored in a cardboard box or wooden frame depending on the fragility of the item(s) involved.

We normally pack smaller and lighter pottery with double-wall carton boxes and larger and heavier items are packed by constructing a wooden protection frame around them. Although the use of a wooden frame will use up additional space on your shipping container it greatly reduces any risk of damage to your valuable order in transit. In fact we will not send larger pottery pieces in any other way.

All our products are under guarantee and we do offer replacement should any of your order reach you in an unsatisfactory condition (see warranty in F.A.Q).

All our items are packed individually with silica gel to prevent any moisture damaging the order during shipment.

The use of wood in packaging may lead to the need for a fumigation certificate, depending on the final destination country of the order. We work alongside certified fumigation companies that meet international requirements.
